Assistant Teaching Professional (Springfield, Mo.)
The Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, MO is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professional for their expanding tennis programs. This is a full time salaried position. Responsibilities include teaching adult and youth programs, administrative duties, tournament administration, organizing mixers and exchanges, and member customer service. There will be a strong focus on member retention and the long term development of tennis players of all ages and abilities. This position will assist in parent and coaching education sessions. The applicant must have a high moral character, must be highly motivated, willing to learn, and be a team player. This is a unique opportunity to get a well-rounded background in the industry. A PTR or USPTA certification is required.
The award winning Cooper Tennis Complex, a public facility, includes 12 indoor courts, 16 outdoor courts, a 2700 seat stadium court for the WTT team, a weight room, a meeting room, kitchen, and full service pro shop. The facility also houses the USTA Missouri District office. The benefit package includes a salary range of $21,000-$30,000 depending upon experience, up to 50% of private lessons, health insurance, paid vacation, and retirement. Two High School Coaching Opportunities
The first position is the assistant varsity coach/head JV coach. Responsibilities are as follows: assist head coach with varsity team, maintain and update tennis website, manage and coach the JV team and provide additional support to both teams as needed. Coaching experience is preferred. Several years of tennis experience is required.
The other position is assistant JV coach. This person directly reports to the head coach and assists the head JV coach with helping improve the new and first time players. Prior coaching experience is preferred and several years of playing experience is required.

Head JV Girl's Tennis Coach Position
Local Area private high school looking for a JV Girl's Tennis Coach for the 2014 fall season from August 4th through October 1st. The season consists of a three week preseason from August 4th through August 22nd. Preseason practices will be held on campus from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.
Regular season, after school practice and play begins Monday, August 25th (exact time T.B.D). The regular season consists of eight dual matches and one tournament (schedule subject to change). Match format consists of almost exclusive doubles play.
Coach will be responsible for running practices, setting lineups and coaching team during match play, as well as passing the on line Missouri State High School Athletic Association Tennis exam to be eligible to coach. There is an assistant coach to help with the coaching responsibilities. JV Coach will be required to attend occasional staff meetings and will report to Head Varsity Coach.
To encourage play in a fun, yet competitive manner that stresses sportsmanship and hard work.
Candidate should have some competitive play experience, but most of all a love for the sport and enjoy working with high school aged children.

The City of Ballwin Parks and Recreation department is looking for a seasonal tennis instructor. The seasonal tennis instructor is responsible for planning and implementation of tennis activities designed to meet the interest and physical ability of each student.
